Great hotel with excellent service. Beds are very comfortable and the food at the restaurant is great at both breakfast and evening meal times. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location with local shops and pubs within walking distance.

Disappointing

For the price, a disappointing stay. The room was dark, stuffy and left largely untouched by housekeeping. First night there was a function with loud music going on seemingly right under our room (although the music did stop at 2300hrs). Second night, drunk guests returning to their rooms and shouting down the corridor at each other at half past midnight. The dining room was too small to accommodate everyone for breakfast so we ended up eating in the lounge together with guests who had brought their dogs down to breakfast.

Down here for work sadly… however Had a great first night at the hotel! A few issues during the night due to guests setting off fire alarms, however the staff were brilliant with the situation! The waiting staff and food were brilliant, Tom the bar man was very accommodating over the evening and kept us happy.
